On the advice of a good friend and the ophthalmologist, I visited Medifocus in early February to get some information. Within a week of my first visit, I was able to have the ReLEx smile treatment. I quickly decided what I'd wanted for years, but which I thought was impossible for a correction of nearly -8.

Because of how fast the procedure could be done, I immediately saved money on new glasses and a box of contact lenses (for sports). I made the quick decision with full confidence, based on good professional information and explanation. After 17 years of ‘four eyes’, it is fantastic to function without glasses. The operation was very smooth, and the results are perfect. My vision was already very good at the first check-up after a few days. Apart from a bit of blurry vision during computer work the first days, after just a few hours I could function well and even watch TV.

The risks were also explained—it is and remains a surgical procedure—but they weren't minimized, giving me a realistic picture of the procedure… The technique is not cheap, but the price was always communicated transparently and well in advance.


On the day itself, everything went flawlessly and professionally. I never had any worries during, before or after the treatment, because I always had a contact point where I could call/email. Personally, I only had discomfort for a few hours after the treatment.
Excellent aftercare followed the treatment, and now after 3 months, my vision is 100%.

I can only recommend Medifocus.
